With Autumn now in full swing and the days becoming shorter and crisper, some cosy layers and warmer materials were on the cards for a quick 36 hours in the Belgium capital.
With two cameras, a laptop and a drone taking up the majority of real estate in my carry on bag I had to make some intelligent choices when it came to packing for this trip. I kept everything simple and interchangeable with each piece serving a purpose.
I’m embracing the colour palette of the season with warmer brown tones, adding tougher materials and thicker mid layers to combat the chill whilst keeping true to my street style aesthetic.
Black Super Skinny Jeans – New Look
Faux Shearling and Denim Jacket – Zara ( This doubled up perfectly as a train/plane window pillow at times.)
Brown Sweatshirt with Pouch Pocket – Zara
Adidas X_PLR Sneakers – Adidas
Rose Gold Watch – Reclaimed Vintage
Finding those perfect mid layers for the seasonal transition whilst adding some playfulness to my minimal wardrobe lead to me this investment piece by Tommy Hilfiger. I’ll definitely find myself living in this sweater this autumn. With only one night in the city, the idea of enjoying every second and not worrying about social media or photos was key to finding the perfect balance on this trip. As a result only a couple of photographs remain of what turned out to be an exceptional night in Brussels.
Belgium was incredible. Be sure to check out my other posts on the trip here.
Until next time,
