The Belgium Lookbook

With Autumn now in full swing and the days becoming shorter and crisper, some cosy layers and warmer materials were on the cards for a quick 36 hours in the Belgium capital.

With two cameras, a laptop and a drone taking up the majority of real estate in my carry on bag I had to make some intelligent choices when it came to packing for this trip. I kept everything simple and interchangeable with each piece serving a purpose.

I’m embracing the colour palette of the season with warmer brown tones, adding tougher materials and thicker mid layers to combat the chill whilst keeping true to my street style aesthetic. The building in queastion initialy started life as a brand new Hilton hotel but after 4 years of work still remains a complete shell, a playground to the creative eye. I’ll definitely find myself living in this sweater this autumn.IMG_6527With only one night in the city, the idea of enjoying every second and not worrying about social media or photos was key to finding the perfect balance on this trip. As a result only a couple of photographs remain of what turned out to be an exceptional night in Brussels.

I swapped out my trusty X-PLR’s for a pair of more bar appropriate converse, lost my warm mid layer and went with a classic white River Island tee with ICON Brand pendant for a more dressed up feel.

Belgium was incredible. Be sure to check out my other posts on the trip here.

Until next time,

Stevie.
